1 Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Customer", "you") and Otteresto ("Company", "we", "us", "our") regarding your use of the Otteresto restaurant management platform and all related services.

By registering for an account, accessing our website, or using any part of our service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Important: If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2 Service Description

Otteresto provides a comprehensive Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) restaurant management platform designed to streamline your restaurant operations through:

✓ Point-of-sale (POS) solutions
✓ Customer relationship management
✓ Staff scheduling and management

✓ Financial reporting and analytics
✓ Order processing and tracking
✓ Third-party integrations
✓ Mobile and web access

We continuously improve our service and may add, modify, or remove features. We'll notify you of significant changes that affect your use of the platform.

3 Accounts and Security

Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account. You're responsible for keeping this information updated.

Warning: Providing false information may result in immediate account termination.

Security Responsibilities

You must:

✓ Notify us immediately of any security breaches

4 Subscription and Billing

Subscription Plans

Otteresto operates on a subscription-based model. Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually in UAE Dirhams (AED).

Payments charged in advance
Automatic renewal unless cancelled

30-day notice for price changes

Refund Policy:

Generally non-refundable
Exceptions for technical issues
Accidental duplicate payments
As required by UAE law

5 Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Otteresto responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Security Violations:

Unauthorized access attempts
Transmitting malware or viruses
Reverse engineering our software
Using automated scripts or bots

Legal Violations:

Violating UAE or international laws
Storing or processing illegal content
Harassing other users
Reselling without authorization

6 Data Ownership and Privacy

Your Data Remains Yours

You retain complete ownership of all restaurant data, customer information, and content you upload to Otteresto. We never claim ownership of your business data.

We process your data solely to provide you with our service, including generating reports, analytics, and maintaining secure backups. Our detailed Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information in compliance with UAE data protection laws.

7 Limitation of Liability

Service Provided "As Is": While we work hard to provide reliable service, Otteresto is provided without warranties. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will meet all your specific needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, our total liability for any claims will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or business interruption.

8 Account Termination

You Can Cancel Anytime

Cancel your subscription through your account settings or by contacting support. Access continues until your current billing period ends.

Data Retention

After cancellation, we keep your data for 30 days in case you want to reactivate. Then it's permanently deleted.

9 Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Dubai, UAE, conducted in English under DIFC Arbitration Rules.

10 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect service changes or legal requirements. We'll notify active users of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
